The below information only applies to travelers booked on tours beginning in London who have group airport transfers arranged by Go Ahead Tours. Group transfers are included in Go Ahead’s airfare package.
Additionally, please disregard this article if you're visiting London independently before tour, as transfers are only provided on standard tour start and end dates.
Due to airport regulations, all travelers arriving in London are transferred to their hotel by the private chauffeur company, Addison Lee. Your Tour Director will meet you at the hotel. To ensure a smooth arrival, we're sharing instructions on how to locate your driver at the airport in London.
Arrival instructions
- After landing, go through passport control and baggage claim before exiting customs into the arrivals hall.
- Once there, look for your driver near the barrier. They’ll be holding a sign with your name (which may be digital) and might include names of other travelers taking the same group transfer.

- If you have a Go Ahead name tag, please wear it to help your driver or other travelers spot you.

- If you don’t see your driver within 45 minutes, stay put and note which terminal you’re in.

- They could be picking up travelers at another terminal and will return shortly.

- In the meantime, message your Tour Director in the Go Ahead app to help you locate your driver.

- Connect to the airport’s Wi-Fi if you don’t have an international phone plan.
