Once you're on tour, your Tour Director is your go-to resource for questions, updates, and support. Whether you need help finding your Go Ahead representative at the airport or want to ask a question during your trip, you can reach out directly through the Go Ahead Tours app.
You can send a private message or post in the group chat - whichever feels right for the moment. If your question could help others too, we recommend using the group-wide chat, which is where most conversations take place. The chat will look just like a text message thread.
How to contact your Tour Director in the app
- Open the Go Ahead Tours app (U.S. travelers/Canadian travelers) on your smartphone or tablet.
- Log in to your account (if you’re not already logged in).
- Tap the Chat icon at the bottom of the screen.
- To message your Tour Director privately:
- Tap New chat in the top right corner.
- Select your tour name.
- Find your Tour Director’s name and tap it.
- Tap Start in the top right corner to begin the chat.
- To message your whole group:
- From the Chat homepage, look for the group conversation titled with your tour name and date.
- Tap to open and send your message.
Contacting your Tour Director before departure
Some Tour Directors may post a welcome message or group-wide updates in the app a few days before your tour begins. Not all Tour Directors are able to do this, especially if they’re leading back-to-back trips. They dedicate an incredible amount of care and energy to each tour, and we want to make sure they get the rest they deserve between adventures.
