Looking to update your passenger details, add a frequent flyer number, or select a seat? Once Go Ahead has secured your flights, you can manage many parts of your reservation directly through the airline’s website or app. This guide explains what you can do, how to access your booking, and what to expect if your flights haven’t been ticketed yet.
What you can do through the airline
After your flights are booked, you can visit the airline’s official website or mobile app to:
- Select seats - starting 30 days before departure
- Check in to your flights - starting 24 hours before departure
- Add TSA PreCheck or Global Entry details
- Link your frequent flyer number
- Request special in-flight meals for dietary needs
Note: If you're looking to change your flights or request an upgrade to Premium Economy or Business Class, please send us a message prior to your Tour Finalization Date.
How to access your flight reservation
To view or manage your booking:
- Go to the airline’s official website or download their mobile app
- If your itinerary includes multiple airlines, access your booking through the airline operating your first flight
- Look for a section labeled “Trips,” “My Trips,” “Manage Trips,” or similar
- Enter your name and 6-character reservation number (also called a confirmation number, record locator, or booking code)
- This number is available in the Flights section of your Go Ahead online account (U.S. travelers/Canadian travelers) or mobile app (U.S. travelers/Canadian travelers)
- Once your reservation is pulled up, you can manage your booking as needed
Trouble accessing your reservation?
If you’re having trouble locating your booking:
- Make sure your name is entered exactly as it appears on your passport
- If your middle name is included, try entering your first and middle name together (no space) in the first name field (for example, RobertHenry)
Why does the airline say my reservation isn’t confirmed?
Don’t worry - this is normal.
When you book flights through Go Ahead, we hold your reservation, but don’t ticket it until 30 days before departure. This gives you flexibility and helps avoid extra fees if plans change.
Until ticketing is complete, some airline websites may show a message like “not confirmed” or “at risk of cancellation.” Rest assured, your flights are confirmed through us.
