Want to make sure your TSA PreCheck or Global Entry benefits are added to your upcoming flights? If you’ve booked airfare through Go Ahead, you’ll need to manually add your Known Traveler Number (KTN) to your airline reservation. Here’s how to do it.
How to add your KTN
Once your flights are released (between 85–60 days before departure):
- Locate your airline reservation number (also called a confirmation number, record locator, or booking code) in your Go Ahead account (U.S. travelers/Canadian travelers)
- Visit the airline’s official website or mobile app and:
- Use your reservation number to pull up your reservation
- Add your 9-digit KTN (also called PASSID) in the airline’s traveler details section
- Verify that your name matches your passport exactly
- Confirm your flight departure time
- Enroll in email or text alerts for flight updates
- If you’re flying with more than one airline, repeat the process for each carrier. Your KTN must be added to every airline’s system to be recognized.
If your flights haven’t been booked yet
You can still submit your information to us:
- Send us your full name as it appears on your passport and KTN
- We’ll add it when booking your flights
- You can also contact us if you’re having trouble entering your KTN directly with the airline
You cannot add or edit your KTN directly through your Go Ahead account.
Next steps:
- Wait for your flight details to be released in your Go Ahead account (U.S. travelers/Canadian travelers).
- Use your airline reservation number to access your booking.
- Add your KTN to each airline’s website or app.
