Go Ahead Tours will release flight information between 85 and 60 days prior to your scheduled departure date in your online account (U.S. travelers/Canadian travelers). After this date, Go Ahead will not adjust your flight schedule. However, schedule changes made by the airline can occur.
What is a flight schedule change?
A flight schedule change refers to any modification to a passenger's scheduled flight itinerary at any point prior to flight departure. These changes are not initiated by the traveler or Go Ahead, schedule changes are initiated by the airline. Schedule changes could impact just one flight or the entire end-to-end journey. Airlines frequently make changes within three months of departure, and they're also responsible for providing reprotection.
How can I monitor my flight schedule and potential changes?
Once you have your flight information, we highly encourage utilizing the airline's online account and mobile app. Schedule changes pre-tour happen frequently, and you can monitor your flight schedule by logging in to the airline's online account or mobile app. We recommend opting in to schedule change notifications.
Please download your airline’s mobile app and complete the following:
- Add your reservation using the 6-digit reservation code found in your Go Ahead MyAccount (U.S. travelers/Canadian travelers)
- Verify your personal information and passport name are entered correctly
- Confirm that your flight departure time hasn’t changed
- Enroll in email and text notifications for your flight itinerary (offered by most airlines)
My flights aren't showing in MyAccount?
If your flight itinerary was previously showing in your Go Ahead online account (U.S. travelers/Canadian travelers) and is no longer there, that means there's been a schedule change to your flight itinerary. Our flight experts are working to confirm your schedule change and you'll receive an email once your updated itinerary is confirmed and showing in your account. If your flights have been missing for over 10 business days, please submit a request to our Traveler Support Team.
Will I get notified when a schedule change impacts my flights?
It's the responsibility of the traveler to monitor minor schedule changes after your flights have been released. However, Go Ahead will reach out via email if your flight itinerary has had a major schedule change. A major schedule change is an hour or more difference from your original itinerary, a misconnection that has forced Go Ahead to rebook your complete itinerary, or if you're arriving late to tour.
