The Tour Finalization Date is an important milestone in your travel planning; it’s when we begin to confirm all tour details on our end. Knowing this date helps you make any last adjustments before your tour is locked in, as all changes to your trip must be made prior to this date.
When is my Tour Finalization Date?
- Most tours: 70 days before departure
- Special Event Tours, Customized Tours, Land & Cruise Tours, and Rocky Mountaineer tours: 90 days before departure
What can I do before the Tour Finalization Date?
This date is your last chance to make certain changes to your reservation. Here’s what you can do prior to your Tour Finalization Date:
- Make your final payment (unless you're enrolled in AutoPay)
- Change hotel room or cruise cabin types, if rooms are available
- Add or remove Go Ahead airfare packages without late reservation fees
- Submit flight preferences, including upgrade requests, airline choices, and routing
- Purchase travel protection, including AnyReason Protection
- Prebook excursions that have a booking deadline
- Rebook to a new tour or date without rebooking fees
After this date, some changes may no longer be possible due to finalized arrangements with our partners.
