This article contains step-by-step instructions on how to apply for the Zimbabwe e-Visa.

What you need
To enter Zimbabwe, all U.S. and Canadian passport holders must obtain a visa. This guide will walk you through applying for an e-Visa online. You will need your hotel information (learn how to find your hotel details) to apply. You will also need your arrival flight number, this will be emailed by 30 days in advance of the tour.
When to apply
You can begin applying for your e-Visa once your hotel details have been released, around 30 days prior to departure. Please note the e-visa is valid for 90 days from the day it is approved to enter the country and is valid for 30 days upon entry into Zimbabwe. Processing typically takes around 2-3 business days, so we recommend applying no later than 2 weeks prior to departure to allow time for processing. Alternatively, you may obtain a visa upon arrival at the airport in Victoria Falls.
How to apply
While our team is dedicated to keeping visa information up to date, please be aware that consulate applications are subject to change. As a result, your application may differ slightly from this guide. In such cases, use this guide as a reference, but follow your application’s instructions.
Walkthrough:
Visit: https://www.evisa.gov.zw/ to begin.
Press “Start the Process"
Navigate to “No Account Yet?”
Input contact information to create an account, press Confirm
Once confirmed, continue to Connect
Re-enter email and password and “Sign In”.
You’ll be given an application Reference and your flight into Zimbabwe will enter Victoria Falls International Airport. Press Confirm.
Select: Create a new person
Add personal and passport details for yourself and press self. Press confirm. Confirm that you do want to create this new person. Select your name and press Continue
Select your nationality and select Ordinary Passport
Select the Single Entry on arrival option, press Continue
Add in Traveler and traveler details
- Your mode of travel: by plane
- Your flight information will be emailed to you around 30 days before the tour
- Your purpose of visit: Holiday and enter in the amount of days you’ll be in Zimbabwe (you can check your itinerary for the amount of days).
The address in country of permanent residence is the hotel you’ll be staying in. Your hotel information will be available 30 days before your departure in your online account, learn how to find your hotel details.
Clarify the crime questions and fill out the funds question, a standard amount to submit is $1,000.
Input your emergency contact information. Make sure to include a +1 for US or CA phone numbers.
Read through the summary and confirm the information is correct. You’ll need to toggle the confirmation and you can choose to either pay in advance or once arriving into Zimbabwe. For a quick entry process, we recommend paying online in advance. There is no cost difference. You will be brought to a new screen to complete payment and receive confirmation of payment. Once your application has been processed, you will NOT receive a follow-up email of confirmation or denial.
