All travelers visiting the Dominican Republic are required to complete an electronic arrival and departure card (eTicket) through the Dominican Republic's official government website. This is a mandatory entry requirement and must be completed before checking in for your flight.
The good news? It's completely free and takes just a few minutes to complete online!
Tip: Your departure eTicket can be completed before your trip or while on tour, prior to your return flight home.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have the following handy before starting your application:
- ✅ Your passport (U.S. or Canadian)
- ✅ Your flight itinerary (available in your online account or mobile app)
- ✅ Your hotel details (found under "Hotels" in your online account or mobile app)
Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Step 1: Visit the Official Website
Go to the Dominican Republic's official eTicket portal: eticket.migracion.gob.do
Need it in English? Use the language toggle in the top right-hand corner of the website to switch to English.
Step 2: Start Your Application
- Click "E-Ticket Application"
- Select "New Ticket"
Step 3: Verify You're Not a Robot
Click "I'm not a Robot" and submit to proceed.
Traveling with others? You can add fellow travelers to your application by toggling "Yes" for "Are you Traveling With Someone Else?" — one form can cover your whole group!
Step 4: Fill In Your Personal Information
Complete all required personal details as they appear on your passport. Then click Next.
Step 5: Enter Your Travel Information
You'll need to provide your flight and accommodation details. Reference your flight itinerary and hotel list in your online account or mobile app.

Step 6: Complete Health & Customs Questions
Read and answer all required questions, then click Next.
Step 7: Sign the Terms & Conditions
Review and agree to the Terms and Conditions to finalize your application.
Step 8: Save Your QR Code!
Once you've completed the form, you'll receive a QR code confirmation. You can:
- Download a PDF of your eTicket
- Receive it by email
Save your QR code — you will need it at check-in!
If you need to make changes, you can go back and modify your application at any time before the deadline (see Important Notes below).
Important Notes
Modification Deadline: The eTicket can only be modified up to one day before the flight date listed on your form.
Already submitted and can't edit? No problem — you can create a new eTicket without any issues. Only the most recently created eTicket will be validated.
Group QR Code: A single QR code is valid for all travelers whose information is included in the same eTicket form.
Reminder: This service is completely free through the official website. Do not pay for this service through any third-party site.
Frequently Asked Questions
How can I modify my eTicket? Log back into the eTicket portal and use the "Consultation" option. This will display an option to open the editable form where you can make changes.
Can I add more travelers after I've already submitted? Yes! You can add additional people to your eTicket using the modification option after submission.
I accidentally added extra passengers — how do I remove them? You can remove additional passengers during the creation of the eTicket using the remove button before final submission.
What if I can no longer modify my eTicket? You can create a brand-new eTicket. Only the last one created will be validated, so there's no need to worry.
Do I need a separate QR code for each traveler? No — one QR code covers all individuals listed in the same eTicket document.
