When you book flights through Go Ahead Tours, round-trip group transfers between the airport and your hotel are included on the official tour start and end dates. These transfers are scheduled based on original flight times to ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience.
If you book your own flights, airport transfers are not included.
How group transfers work
- Included with Go Ahead flights: Group transfers are only available to travelers who purchase our airfare package.
- Scheduled for official tour dates: Transfers operate on the first and last days of your tour. If you’re arriving early or extending your trip, you’ll need to arrange your own transportation.
- Shared vehicles: Transfer vehicles vary by airport and hotel location and may include other travelers arriving around the same time. Transfers can vary from coach bus to taxi!
- Short waits may occur: You might be asked to wait briefly at a designated area to meet up with other arriving travelers. This is a great opportunity to grab a snack, use the restroom, or exchange/withdraw some cash.
In case of flight disruptions
Group transfers are arranged based on your original flight schedule. If a disruption causes you to miss the scheduled transfer:
- You'll need to make your own way to the hotel.
- Your Tour Director will assist you with arranging transportation.
- You may be eligible for reimbursement from Go Ahead or your travel insurance once you return home.
Always keep your hotel details accessible in the Go Ahead app in case you need to arrange alternate transportation.

- Connect with your Tour Director to meet your driver when you land.
- Check the Group Chat for up-to-date instructions and reminders prior to your tour.
