Once you’ve booked your tour, it’s important to enter your passport or government-issued ID details - whichever document you’ll be traveling with. This helps us book flights and secure key parts of your itinerary, and ensures everything is ready for your trip.
Even if you book flights independently, it’s crucial to provide your passport information as soon as possible. We often need this information to book accommodations, activities, or on-tour transportation.
You can submit this information from your mobile app or online account.
From the Go Ahead mobile app
- Using a smartphone or tablet, access the Go Ahead mobile app (U.S. travelers/Canadian travelers)
- Log in to your account
- Navigate to the Tours tab at the bottom of the screen
- Select your upcoming tour
- Select Traveler details from the Tour details section
- If you have multiple travelers in your party, you can edit passport information for each traveler here
- Tap Add next to Name & birthdate, enter your details exactly as they appear on your travel document, check the verification box, and tap Submit
- Tap Add next to Passport information, enter your passport details, and tap Submit
While you're here, it's a great time to complete any other missing traveler details.
From your online account
- Log in to your online account (U.S. travelers/Canadian travelers) using a computer, tablet, or smartphone
- In the top right of your screen, click My account and then My tours
- Click on your tour
- Click Traveler details
- If you have multiple travelers in your party, you can edit information for each traveler here
- Click Add next to Name & birthdate, enter your details exactly as they appear on your travel document, check the verification box, and click Submit
- Click Add next to Passport information, enter your passport details, click Continue to review, then click Submit after verifying your details.
Don’t forget to scroll down and complete your Personal information, including emergency contacts and health notes.
Making changes to your passport info
Did your passport expire and do you plan to renew it before you travel? You can update your passport number, issue date, and expiration date in your account (U.S. travelers/Canadian travelers) or app (U.S. travelers/Canadian travelers) up to one month before your tour.
Need to change your name or birthdate? These fields can’t be edited online once submitted -please give us a call and we’ll help you update them.
There may be additional costs associated with changing or reissuing your airline ticket if you need to change your name, birthday, or passport details after your Tour Finalization Date.
