Curious how your flights are selected when you book with Go Ahead? Whether you’re wondering who plans your itinerary, when flights are confirmed, or how to make a request, here’s how our team works behind the scenes to find the best round-trip flights for your tour.
How flight selection works
When you add our airfare package, our in-house Flights Team takes care of all the planning. As soon as airlines release their schedules, usually about a year in advance, we start reviewing your options.
Thanks to our EF global network and long-standing partnerships with major airlines, we’re able to access a wide range of high-quality itineraries. When selecting your flights, we prioritize:
- Quality and safety
- Tour timing and logistics
- Convenience from your selected departure city
If you do not have any specific requests, we’ll choose the most suitable itinerary for you and post it in your online account (U.S. travelers/Canadian travelers) and mobile app (U.S. travelers/Canadian travelers) between 85 and 60 days before your tour.
Want to request a specific flight?
Have preferences like a favorite airline, preferred route, or upgraded seat? You can submit a flight request when you book or any time before your Tour Finalization Date - the earlier, the better. Some requests may come with additional costs depending on what you’re looking for.
Traveling with a Group Coordinator? Submit any flight preferences to your Group Coordinator at least six months before departure.
Already booked and want to make a request? Submit a flight request and our team will review your options! We aim to respond within 5-10 business days from your request.
Next steps:
- Add the airfare package when booking your tour.
- Submit flight preferences early, ideally at booking.
- Group travelers: Send requests through your Group Coordinator.
- Check your Tour Finalization Date in your account or app and ensure requests are submitted by this date.
- Use the flight request form if you’ve already booked.
