Effective January 1, 2026, travelers visiting South Korea are required to complete specific entry forms before arriving in the country. Please review the requirements below and ensure all necessary forms are submitted prior to your departure.
Step 1: Choose One Entry Form
All travelers must complete one of the following entry forms. Review the options below to decide which is right for you.
Option 1: Korean e-Arrival Card (Free)
- No cost
- Can only be completed within 72 hours of your arrival in South Korea
- Standard customs processing upon arrival
- Complete the Korean e-Arrival Card
Option 2: K-eTA (~$7–8 USD)
- Can be completed up to 30 days before your arrival
- Provides an expedited entry process into South Korea
- Fee of approximately $7–8 USD
- Apply for K-eTA
Step 2: Q-Code Health Declaration Form (If Applicable)
In addition to your entry form, you may also be required to complete a Q-Code Health Declaration Form if you currently reside in — or have ever resided in — any of the following U.S. states:
- California
- Colorado
- Michigan
- Minnesota
- Pennsylvania
- Washington
