What your Tour Director does
- Leads your group from arrival through the end of your tour
- Stays at the same hotels, joins some excursions, and travels with you between destinations
- Shares local insight and offers personalized recommendations for free time
- Manages logistics, reservations, and any on-tour issues behind the scenes
- Keeps the group connected and informed throughout the trip
Some tours may have different Tour Directors for the main tour and the extension, each specializing in their region.
Connecting with your Tour Director
- You’ll meet your Tour Director on arrival day
- Use the Go Ahead mobile app (U.S. travelers/Canadian travelers) to:
- Receive messages and updates (most Tour Directors post a few days before departure)
- Send direct messages during the tour
- Chat with fellow travelers
Tour Directors often lead back-to-back tours or take time off between trips, so they won't be available for questions before your departure. For pre-tour questions, please contact our Traveler Support team.
