Packing for your trip is part of the excitement - and we’re here to help make it simple. Whether you're heading to a warm climate or cooler destination, packing light and smart will make your journey smoother. On most tours, travelers are allowed to bring one checked bag and one carry-on, but always double-check your airline’s baggage policies before flying.

What to pack
We recommend packing lightweight, loose-fitting clothes that can be layered. This gives you flexibility for changing weather and different activities. A sturdy pair of walking shoes or sneakers is a must for sightseeing days.
Other essentials to include:
- Masks and hand sanitizer for your carry-on
- Important documents: passport, health insurance card, visas or entry forms
- Medications and valuables (keep these in your carry-on)
- Luggage tags with your contact info
- Washcloth (not commonly provided outside North America)
If you do check a bag, we recommend making a list or taking photos of any items you pack in your checked bag in the event of delayed or missing luggage.
What shouldn't you bring? Avoid clothing with political statements or symbols. To help keep the experience inclusive and safe for all travelers, and to be respectful of the local populations we visit, we ask that you leave clothing with overt or charged statements or symbols on them at home.
