Sometimes, optional excursions may be cancelled while you're on tour. Whether it's due to weather, low enrollment, or an unexpected closure, we understand how disappointing that can be. If Go Ahead cancels an excursion for your entire group that you signed up for, you’ll receive a full refund to your original form of payment after you return home.
Refund timeline
We aim to process refunds within 8–10 weeks after your tour ends. Your Tour Director will let us know if any excursions did not run as planned once your tour concludes.
If you didn’t attend an excursion that still ran
If you signed up for an excursion but chose not to participate for personal reasons, the excursion is non-refundable.
However, if you missed an excursion due to tour interruption or health-related issues, and you purchased Go Ahead’s travel protection, you may be eligible to file an insurance claim. Note that you will need a doctor’s note when filing an insurance claim.
