Wondering about the flights that happen during your tour? You might have noticed “internal flights” or “on-tour flights” on your itinerary and are curious how they work. This article explains what those flights are, how they’re managed, and what you can expect while you travel.
What are on-tour flights?
On-tour flights are mid-trip flights that help move your group between destinations, often from one country to another. They’re arranged by our Flights Team and coordinated by your Tour Director to keep everything running smoothly.
Because these flights are managed behind the scenes, travelers won’t receive flight details in advance. This helps us minimize logistical issues and keeps your group on schedule.
What to expect
- Seat assignments are determined by the airline. You may be able to request a seat at check-in, depending on what's available.
- No need to book separately. These flights are included in your tour cost, even if you book your own international airfare.
- We handle the logistics so you don’t have to. These flights are all about getting your group where you need to go as efficiently as possible.
Next steps:
- No action is needed to book on-tour flights - they’re included in your tour package.
- Once you’re on tour, your Tour Director will share flight details with your group.
- If you’d like to make a seat request, you can do so directly with the airline during check-in (if that option is available).
