As of January 1, 2023, vaccination against COVID-19 is not required to participate in an EF Go Ahead tour unless is it necessary based on the travel restrictions for tour destinations or itineraries. This means that proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be applicable to some, but not all tours.
To determine if a tour can operate successfully for both unvaccinated and vaccinated travelers, not only are a country’s COVID-19 protocols for entry a consideration, but also transit to and from that destination, and admission to in-country venues, such as stores, theaters, restaurants, and museums. It is important to note that, even though a country may not require travelers to present proof of vaccination upon entry, it is possible that the COVID-19 restrictions within the country are stricter, or that certain border crossings or other tour components have restrictions that make a tour inoperable for unvaccinated travelers. In these cases, the itinerary would require all travelers to be vaccinated in order to participate.
We still highly recommend that all travelers have proof of vaccination, as countries’ restrictions may change frequently and with short notice. If the vaccination status of your tour changes, we will always work to update the entry requirements in your online account as quickly as possible.
Please note that it's important to review your tour's entry requirements several times leading up to your departure should anything change.
