The ID requirement for your tour depends on your citizenship and where you'll be traveling. Guidelines for U.S. and Canadian citizens are outlined in this article. Please note: If you are not a U.S. or Canadian citizen, you must contact each destination country’s consulate or embassy for your travel ID requirements.
Already scheduled to travel with us? Passport and travel ID requirements specific to your tour are available in your online account (U.S. travelers/Canadian travelers) and mobile app.
For international travel
U.S. and Canadian citizens need a valid passport with an expiration date extending at least six months beyond the date of reentry. We recommend having at least one blank passport page for entry stamps, but some countries may require more. For details about obtaining or renewing a passport and additional entry requirements, visit the U.S. Department of State's website or the Government of Canada's website.
For travel in the U.S.
U.S. citizens need valid government-issued identification for air travel within the U.S. If you plan to use a state-issued ID or driver's license on or after May 7, 2025 it will need to meet REAL ID requirements. REAL ID-compliant versions of these IDs will have either a yellow or black star, a white star inside a yellow or black circle, or a white star inside a bear in the top right-hand corner. Visit the REAL ID website for more information.
