Once you've downloaded the Go Ahead app and logged in to the Go Ahead app, you can explore and utilize all the useful features that the Go Ahead app has to offer!
Overview of the Go Ahead app
When you log in to the Go Ahead mobile app, the first thing you should see are your upcoming tours.
If you look near the bottom of the screen you'll see a horizontal menu with the following options:
Explore – browse travel destinations, stories and tips.
Chat – chat conversations with your tourmates can be found here. This includes future and past tours!
Tours – your upcoming and past tours live here. All tour-specific information can be accessed here, so you'll be using this section the most frequently.
Notifications – get notified about travel updates, tips, and to-dos from our team.
More – this is your profile section. Here you can upload a photo of yourself, add a bio, create a tour wish list and check your travel rewards.
Accessing details about your tour
To view information about your upcoming tour, select "Tours" from the bottom horizonal menu. Next, select "View booking details" on the tour you want to view. Now you can scroll down the page to review helpful tour information organized by section. We've summarized these sections below.
If you want to go back to the previous screen you were on, select the arrow located in the top left corner.
Tour details
Under traveler details you can add passport information, emergency contacts and share health notes with your Tour Director. In the payments & invoice section you can view your balance, itemized invoice and make payments. You can also view your tour itinerary for each day, customize your tour with excursions, view hotels and flight details, add travel protection and more.
Connect with travelers
This is the fun part – here you can connect with your tourmates and get to know them before you depart! You can select "Chat" to message your group and the other travelers on your tour can reply. You can also select "Travelers" to view a list of the other travelers on your tour and select "Photos" to upload photos during your adventure and continue sharing memories with your new travel friends even after your tour.
Destination resources
In this last section you'll find frequently asked questions related to your specific tour. Here you can review packing tips, tour pacing & mobility information, tipping guidelines and so much more. We've also created a series of pre-departure videos for you to watch before you hit the road.
Entry requirements for your tour and the countries you’ll be visiting can also be found here. Lastly, the Go Ahead app even has a currency converter for you to use while on tour!
